Lucid dreams call us to action. Mine was to write a novel and this was the seed that died and became the World of 0w1. ”
ABOUT THE OWL NOVEL SERIES
In a place where The State controls everything, disenfranchised by the politics of the day, Strix - an orphan to State-murdered parents - forms the beginnings of a quiet revolution with a group of dissident friends.
In an unrelenting story of courage and terror, the group find that even a totalitarian State can't control everything. There are cracks, even in this reality.
The 'World of 0w1' is a supernatural political horror trilogy, set in the city of Bristol. ‘0w1: believe' is part one.

The 0w1 Novels: We begin publishing our story in June 2021, with part one of the trilogy, “0w1:believe”. The three books will follow a group of dissident friends who work to undermine the power of the State. They want to rescue themselves from the anonymity imposed upon them and find significance.
Follow them on their journey as they seek to end their workaday, unremarkable existence, by entering the heightened reality of the ‘vision space’. They will also find help from unexpected places. They are not alone.
From time-to-time we’ll be planning the release of the back-stories to the World of 0w1, which look at the lives of Strix, Jack his Dad and Shula his Mum.
Jack is a poet and political dissident, incarcerated and murdered by the State Security Services.
Shula is a model, mystic and activist, who worked to protect the young models at her agency from a predator. However, she became another victim of the power of privilege. She was under the surveillance of the Security Services, in Bristol (UK), where they were ‘exiled’.
Strix was taken to the Greenfields Orphanage to receive care and a State education.
OWL:BELIEVE (book 1)
In Part One - A story that is full of the terrors of a demonic State, hidden beneath the strongholds of the institutions of the State and its Church. Not everyone is awake to their influences of oppression and suppression; only those who are able to enter the ‘vision space’, through the cracks in this reality.
The lives of Strix, Falco and their friends are controlled and nothing unpredictable happens in the mundane, humdrum world of this Corpocracy - a Corporate State run by CEOs and CFOs - where everything is provided; so why would anyone rebel against such a benevolent State?
Yes, everything is provided, except freedom - of speech and movement - and this is the spark behind their resistance and subversive measures, as they utilise their gifts as artists and coders. This finds them pitted against vampire priests and bestial demons at the Gates of Hell.
The Group is born. The resistance begins.

In Part Two - The Group thought the cracks in reality, were just for one way traffic; as their means to enter the ‘vision space’.
But now…it becomes a confrontation with what were the anonymous and atmospheric evil of “0w1:believe”.
They will come face-to-face in the Project, with their oppressors, for it seems that the vampire priests had a different idea about how this would work and invade Saint George’s Project, in an attempt to make believers out of the tenants and bring them under the power of The Cult of the Holy Blood. This threatens to be the decisive victory for this dark Power.
The odds shift as does the cost of resistance. Beyond this blood-thirsty threat, the State Security Services reveal the early fruits of the Tabula Rasa - Resurrection Project, as the State sets out to prove that it has power over life and death. They release ‘Babe’ as their first attempt of ultimate control over society - and she wreaks havoc on the Group of friends. But not even ‘Babe’ could see what was coming next!
In this story, the World of 0w1 sees a deepening darkness and the sense of foreboding creates higher stakes for the friends. Their world will never be the same again and neither will they.
